Cosca

Terms of Service

Last updated August 5, 2026

Cosca is a free browser game about organized crime in a fictional American city. It is fiction. Playing it means agreeing to what follows — plain language, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.

Who can play

You must be at least 13 to hold an account. If you are under 18, you may play but you may not buy anything without permission from a parent or guardian.

One person, one account. Running more than one account — to feed a main account, to vote or trade with yourself, or to evade a suspension — is the single rule whose enforcement everyone else's fair play depends on, and breaking it costs every account involved.

Points, cash, and the one rule that matters

The game has two currencies. Cash is earned in the game and only exists in the game. Points are bought with real money, and can be traded to other players for in-game cash on the Points market.

Nothing in Cosca converts back to real money, and nothing ever will. Points, cash, items, and accounts have no cash value, no exchange rate, and no redemption path. When you buy Points you are buying a licence to use them inside the game — not property, not an investment, and not anything the game will ever buy back.

Because of that rule, all of the following are forbidden:

We enforce this with permanent suspensions, on both sides of the trade, and we do not reimburse anyone who loses money to it. This is not a formality: a game where value can be cashed out is a different kind of product under the law, and keeping this a game is the whole point.

The casino

The tables take in-game cash only. Points can never be wagered, every game is played against the house rather than another player, and nothing won at a table can leave the game. There is a daily limit on how much you can wager. It is a game mechanic drawn to look like gambling; it is not gambling, because there is nothing at the end of it but more game.

Fighting, and “killing”

Cosca has combat between players, and past a point in the game one character can “kill” another. In plain terms this resets the other character’s in-game progress for the current round and sends them back to the start — it is loss of virtual progress and nothing else. It removes nothing from the account behind the character, locks nobody out, and has no effect of any kind outside the game. The act is described in a sentence, never depicted; this is a 13+ game and it is written to stay one.

Behaviour

A crime theme is the setting. It is not a licence. Regardless of the fiction, the following will get you removed:

Suspensions are issued with a stated reason, and you will be told what it was. If you think one is wrong, open a ticket and a person will read it.

Bugs in your favour

If something in the game gives you money, items, or an advantage it obviously should not, report it. Keeping it, using it, or telling people how to repeat it is treated as cheating. Reporting one has never cost anybody anything.

Your account

You are responsible for your password. We will never ask for it. If your account is compromised, tell us early — there are cooling-off protections on trading after a password change, and they work best before everything has already been moved.

You can delete your account at any time. Deleting it removes your personal information and your character. Financial records of transactions survive in anonymized form, because an economy that cannot be audited cannot be kept honest — see the privacy policy.

The game changes

Cosca is a live game under active development. Numbers get tuned, systems get added, and occasionally something gets removed. Nothing in the game is guaranteed to remain available, and no in-game holding is a promise. If a change destroys something you paid for, say so — that is a support conversation and it will be treated as one.

The boring necessary part

The game is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or preserved forever. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the game before they take effect.

Contact

The in-game help desk is the fastest route and it reaches a person. Legal notices go to legal@coscamafia.com.
